Today my husband made an apple crisp, all by himself, for the very first time.
Our daughter comes home from school and is very excited to see the yummy treat she can dig into! She looks at me and says, "Mom! You made apple crisp!"
My reply, "Nope. Daddy did."
She stops. And pauses for a bit. Then answers, "I guess I won't have any."
Trying not to laugh, I tell her, "But he used my recipe."
She still pauses. And looks closer. And hestiates. Finally, "Well, I guess I'll try some then."
(Just for the record, it was really great stuff!)
lol...i didn't know that dustin is such a "great" cook! i just assumed he could. but, if his own daughter hesitates...that's just funny.
